Trouble In Tela-sick again--Jan 25, 2016

I'm doing pretty well.  I like Tela.

Last Wednesday there was a conference for all the missionaries in the world.  It was awesome!
But Friday I got sick...again.  Only for 2 1/2 days and not so bad.  Just cold and sore and stuff.  It wasn't so bad as last time.  That last one made me look at illnesses in a whole new way.  If I'm not vomiting blood, it's not that bad.  I worked a full day through the whole thing.

It's been pretty cold here.  I love it, but the people think it's crazy.  I've been wearing long sleeves all week--even a jacket!  I don't know what's going on.  My prayers are answered I guess!

Not much happened this week.  We're working hard, but no crazy results.  Our investigators are making progress, but always slowly.  You have to be really careful teaching people because apostasy flies in with one poorly phrased sentence.  So our investigators are carefully, slowly, progressing.

The stake got split, which was exciting.  We watched the conference from here via satellite.  Elder Duncan was there, the area president for Central America, but the video was super blurry, and just stopped about 20 minutes in, so we missed the whole thing more or less.  But oh well, we heard the testimonies of Elder Duncan and Pres. Klein so I got what I came for.  :)

Dad--Mom said you're on a billboard.  Impressive!  Isn't this the second billboard you've been on?  Is there no one younger working at ICCU??
hahahahahahahahahahahaha!  Lo ciento (I'm sorry!)  I hope that makes you laugh and not mad.  Just joking, you obviously are the go to guy where the bank needs to attract new people.  That's pretty awesome.
I also finally did the conversions to find out what everyone was waiting to know....the gas prices!  It's about $4 a gallon here!  Weird, right?  Everything is cheap except gas.

I got an AWESOME package from you guys with a ton of sunflower seeds and a bunch of letters and stuff.  It's been incredible getting packages from my family.  You guys can really pack a lot of love into a single package.  :)
