First Email!! --Sept 2, 2015

We were thrilled to get an email from Ben Weds morning letting us know that he had arrived safe and sound in Guatemala.

HI MOM!!!  i cant believe how awesome the flights were.  it was an incredible feeling flying with 25-30 other missionaries.  we got to the guatemala airport and found a man with a CCM sign.  we followed him onto an old school bus and threw our luggage in the back.  it was a quick but crazy ride to the ccm.  dirt bikes everywhere!  on the sidewalks, in between cars, all going faster than i thought necessary.  (sorry the keyboard is a different layout so i gave up on capitalizing.)  we all got out of the bus at the ccm and hauled our luggage to our rooms.  i already like the elders im sharing with.  everyone is speaking spanish AT me, not to me, and im getting 5% of it but its really cool here.  i love seeing all the elders and missionaries.  breakfast was pretty good, a little rushed.  then i had an interview with presidente lloyd.  he challenged me to read the entire book of mormon while here.  hopefully that goes well.  Then i was rushed up here and told i had 5 minutes to write an email.  i don't know when pday is, but i'll find out soon.  ive only been here a couple of hours, but the temperature and humidity seem fine.  i'll find out more later.  im going to the temple on saturdays.  i saw it on the way here.  LOVE YOU GUYS, IM PRAYING FOR YOU
