First Week on the DL Job--June 27, 2016

Well this week has been soooooooo crazy.  It's my first week as the DL, and I've been putting TONS of time into learning to be DL.  It's going well--there's an elder that lives in the house that is about to die, and he's helping a lot, so that's good.  I also had a meeting with all the DL's in the mission--that was super cool!!  Especially since it was the last meeting with Pres Klein.  He told us that he didn't plan to do it, but felt he needed to have one more.  Super great meeting.

We also had two baptisms this week, one on Saturday, and one on Sunday.  It was Delmi on Saturday.  PRESIDENT KLEIN CAME!!!  He spoke a little bit at the end, and I totally got pics with him.  Then we had the baptism on Sunday, Willan.  Also great.  They both are really good.  I'm really proud to be their missionary.  The problem is now we have no one to teach.

This week we also had the stake conference where they divided the stake.  It was super great, but the general authorities machete-ed  the crap out of us.  Still good though and I learned a ton.

So the new pres gets here on Tuesday and President Klein leaves on Friday.  We have a meeting to get to know the new president on Wednesday.

I can't believe Gary's going to Brazil--that's awesome!!
And I can't believe the Grahams are moving.  The world is so different!

This week has been pretty bad as far as lessons go, because of all the stuff we had.  We have a couple of people that have hope but I think we need to contact.

My comp is good.  He's kinda impulsive, which is.....weird, but whatever.  He's fun to work with.
