Read the Book of Mormon--April 11, 2016

Our investigators are doing alright. We had a date set with Mario, but he didn't feel ready, so we moved it to the 23rd.  That was kinda sad, but I'm sure he will get baptized.  He just needs a little time.
A really promising investigator right now is a 14 year old girl named Mariela.  She's already gone to church twice, and she goes alone.  That's pretty impressive.  She always remembers the lessons we've already taught--you can tell she understands the gospel really well.  The biggest struggle is definitely church attendance.  We have a lot of people that can't come because they work, or have 4 kids under the age of 7, or don't have the money to get there.  It's rough.
The kid, Jorlin, that always asks good questions, was going to go to church yesterday if we went with him at 7:00 in the morning to chop a field of weeds that he normally does on Sunday, but his dad told us we can't, so we'll just wait and pray for now.

So our average day is:  we wake up at 6:00 and go to the gym til 7:30.  Then we shower and start study at 8:00.  At 9:00 is comp study.  Then at 10, we leave for 2 hours, and always stay in the neighborhood.  We go to lunch at 12 in Comidas Gabriela, and at 1:00 we have language study  At 2:00 we leave to the bus, cram ourselves in, and go to the other half of our area.  We work there until 5 or 6:00 when the last bus leaves.  We go back to our neighborhood, and work until 8:00.  Then we eat baleadas in the house restaurant thing, planning at 9:00, and maybe wash some clothes before bed.
The shopping is a little harder here.  There's a couple of mini grocery stores, but they just have food.  Then there's little other stores, one for office supplies, one for technology, and so on.  If I NEEDED something I could go to a bigger city on P Day.

I didn't realize Mother's Day was so close.  That's crazy!  I don't know what we are going to do for that.  I'll have to talk with my comp, because we can't do it here.

I love you guys so much.  Please always read the Book of Mormon.  It's incredible  It can be a source of support, information, inspiracion, whatever you need.  I'm soooooooo grateful that we have it in our lives.  It's such a miracle.
LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!
