Rafael's baptism--Feb 15, 2016

So the email I was writing just disappeared.  I have no idea what going on with this computer.  I'm writing from an internet place (because the other elders lost the key to the church) and it's super slow.  I'm just going to summarize this week and remind me to fill it in better next week.

We had a baptism this week!  His name is Rafael.  He's the cousin of a member here.  He latched on to the lessons really quickly.  He was fun to teach.  But eventually he's going to have to return to his house, and there's no church there, so we'll see how that goes.  (The area he lives in is called Sparta by the way.  Pretty cool.)

My comp got a call this morning--he'll be training, which means I have changes.  Don't know where, but one of us is leaving.  I've been here longer, so I'm guessing I'm going.  Super exciting.

Tell Caleb I saw a spider the size of my hand, with the fingers as legs, GIANT.  It scared the crap out of me!  It was big enough to beat me in an arm wrestling contest.

We had the wedding of Rene Amazor and Ana Ramos on Saturday.  It was really cool, pretty simple, but really good.  I can't even remember the last wedding I've been to.  He is a member and she was waiting to get married so she can get baptized.  She's super cool and he's been attending church for about 5 months.

I did divisions with an elder in Tela on Friday and had a great time.  He's from El Salvador like my dad, and we got together really well.  I liked seeing another area, but I think I like mine better.

On Sunday I gave a talk about the love of God.  It went a lot better than the last one, and I only had two days to prepare it.

Not much else, just that I have changes.  I'll tell you more about it next week.

Sorry I can't write more.  Love you guys so much.  Remember that we have the Lord for anything we  want help with.  Never feel like your questions or concern isn't worth praying about.
