Gabriel's Baptism--Sept 5, 2016

Actually I don't think I will have a new comp.  My son needs to go to Brazil, but the office where they make visas is on strike, so that's not going well.  And that kinda freaks me out, because I DON'T want to leave.  And if he's here for too long, they will take me out.   He will go to Brazil but not for a while, and I can't have three changes with him and then another comp, so they will move me first.  This area is sooo great.  I just love the people here.  It's a little richer than average.  The branch isn't great, but that's fine.  I just love everything about here.  It's also kinda nice because it's here I started changing some things to be the best possible missionary.  Stuff from some talks I read.  It's really hard but it works.  Like, I love this area, but I never pray to have more time here.  I only ask to be able to adapt to God's will.  You guys should do the same!  And a bunch of other stuff.  I love the people here like I can't believe.  I get pretty sad if a person rejects us, or if an investigator makes a mistake.  It just kills.  I just want them to be happy, but they don't understand how to be truly happy.

This week was the hardest I've ever worked in my life.  I finished every day soooooo exhausted.  But it was great.  We helped the investigators a ton.  I set a ton of goals with my district, and we ended up doubling the zone numbers, just us!  It was incredible.  Now I just have to keep it up.

This Saturday we had the baptism for Gabriel.  I'm sooo happy.  I baptized him.  He's going to be an incredible member.  He is already going with us and searching inactives and stuff.  I'm soo proud of him.
We have a ton of people with baptismal dates, and they all really want to get baptized.  I love visiting and teaching them.
My comp is kinda weird.  I get along with him, and he's not rude, but he's weird.  Talks about ghosts and devils and demons and stuff a lot.  But he's fine.  Works hard.  And he has some great moments.  I honestly love him.
My fav comps were Nunez and Garnica, but the rest were fine.  I've enjoyed all but one.

I totally ate armadillo!  It's good.

The area is all on a hill, not big but there's always a rise or slope or something.  There's nice parts and POOR parts.  It's not close to the downtown, but it's fine.  It's super hot.  No one in Idaho will ever understand it.

This week we will have a conference with Elder Alonso.  It's supposed to be a huge machete for us, like 6 hours.  I'm so excited.
I'm just loving the mission right now.  I've had the happiest moments of my life this week. I honestly don't want to go home.  Not at all.  But I love you guys!  A ton!
