Lunch after Conference

I LOVED Conference. I watched it in English with all the other gringos in the zone. It was sooo good. Gary Sabin was awesome! So funny, but he gave the BEST examples! And Holland, Eyring, Uchtdorf all killed it! The apostles and prophets are SOOOOO TRUE! The mission used to have like a mission hymn that we sang a lot in zone conferences and all meetings with the president. It's Santos Avanzad, or Press Forward Saints. Awesome Hymn!!!

The increased teaching time is hard, but good. It's funny, one day, Guada and I were contacting and out of nowhere like 5 people I had met last time I was in La Paz showed up, and started talking to me. Then they all left and my comp told me, "Why don't we go to THEIR houses?!! What are we doing in the STREET!!" He's a super funny guy!

Today was AWESOME!!!! We woke up at 5:30 to start the trip to Tela!!! We have a senior couple that is coming, and Pres put them in Tela. So we went to set up their house, and since we missed P Day cuz of conference Pres gave us permission to go have P Day there. So we left super early, and dropped off all the stuff (fridge, stove, table, beds, chairs, microwave) and set it up all nice. Then we went to Lancetilla!! That's the big national forest in Tela and I was the guide leading the office on a hour hike loop to go visit 2 families I knew from when I was in Tela last time. The familia Pinto! They are so awesome! It's a single mom that hikes around in boots and with a machete scavenging food for her kids. She also owns cows and pigs, rides a horse, is active in the church and just went to the temple. SOOO COOL!!!!!! They live a half hour hike and then half hour taxi ride from the church and she loves to see the missionaries. YEAH. The other family wasn't there, but we ate a TON of fruit on the way. Cacao, coco, bananas, all that. Awesome! Then we dropped off the keys for the new house with Pres and we went to Denny's. We HAD to go because we saw an all you can eat pancake meal for 3 dollars. PANCAKE EATING COMPETITION!! I ended up winning, which was a major upset in the expected results. I ate 7 pancakes and 2 bites, Elder Averett ate 7 pancakes exactly. Nice! So awesome day, but know Averett and I feel terrible, and I hate pancakes now.
Oh well. Good day.
