Today we had a baptism. Well the APs had one, but the guy is super awesome. He is soooo converted. He was so excited to take this step and enter "through the gate" and he absolutely understands all the gospel and principles. He has already read all the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Grand Price. He's awesome.
This week we've played a TON of basketball--like 3-4 times a week. We just go at like 8:30-9:30. It's fun, but we play super hard. I finish super tired.
I'm getting used to the office, and I like it. I enter all the baptisms to the church records, and make a sheet called retention (about retaining converts) for every area in the mission and a bunch of small stuff--maintaining houses with smoke detectors and supplying phones and the personal secretary for the president, like making reservations in hotels and renting a car when he goes to Roatan, stuff like that. I enjoy it, but today during the baptism I missed working in the field soooooooo much. I love that feeling of seeing someone progress and improve their life. It's tough, but I'm glad to be serving the Lord.
I'm excited to skype with you guys!!
